Understanding Particle Limits and Syncing

How CooParticlesAPI Works

CooParticlesAPI is a backend mod that other mods use to display particles beyond Minecraft's default 16384 particle cap. When a mod calls this API, it handles the heavy lifting: rendering massive particle effects, keeping them synchronized across all players on a server, and optimizing network traffic to prevent lag spikes.

You won't interact with this mod directly—it runs silently whenever another mod needs it. The key benefit is that everyone in your world sees identical particle effects at the same time, and the custom packet system prevents connection issues even when thousands of particles render simultaneously. Install it alongside mods that support the API for enhanced visual effects without network problems.
