Organize and Search Keybinds Across Multiple Mods

Access the Enhanced Controls Screen

Open Options > Controls to see the Controlling Mod's improved interface. Unlike vanilla Minecraft, this screen is designed to handle dozens of keybinds from multiple mods.

Use the Search Bar

Type keywords to filter keybinds by name. Search for mod names (like "waila" or "jei"), action types (like "attack" or "jump"), or specific features. This narrows down the list when you have many mods installed.

Sort and Filter Options

The mod provides sorting tools to organize keybinds by category, mod, or binding status. Use these to group related actions together, making it easier to find and manage keys.

Browse Unbound Keys

View which keys are currently available and unassigned. This helps you find free keys when adding new keybinds or reassigning conflicts without guessing.

Locate Problematic Combinations

The mod highlights unusual or problematic keybind combinations—such as keys bound to multiple conflicting actions. This makes it obvious which assignments need attention.
