How to Use Gyro Aiming with a Controller in Controlify

Enabling Gyro

Open Controlify's controller settings and find the gyro or motion section for your controller. Turn gyro aiming on, then choose an activation mode: always-on, hold-to-activate, or a toggle button. Hold-to-activate is the most common choice because it lets you aim normally with the stick and fine-tune with motion only when you press the assigned button.

Tuning Sensitivity and Axes

Set separate sensitivity values for horizontal and vertical gyro movement so you can keep turning fast while keeping vertical aim stable. If your aim drifts, recalibrate the gyro from the settings screen while the controller rests on a flat surface. You can also invert axes if the direction feels wrong.

In practice, use the right stick for large camera swings and the gyro for small corrections — lining up a bow shot, placing blocks precisely, or tracking a moving mob. Many players bind gyro activation to a trigger or shoulder button so it engages naturally during combat. Test your settings in a safe area before relying on them, and adjust sensitivity gradually rather than making large jumps at once.
