How to Enable and Adjust Controller Vibration and HD Haptics
Turning On Vibration
Open Controlify's settings for your controller and find the vibration or rumble section. Enable vibration, then set its overall strength with the intensity slider. Controlify triggers feedback for events like taking damage, breaking blocks, and other in-game actions, so you feel what's happening without watching the screen constantly.
HD Haptics on Supported Controllers
If your controller supports HD haptics (certain PlayStation and other advanced gamepads), Controlify can use richer, more precise feedback instead of simple rumble. Enable the HD haptics option in the same settings area. The effect is more detailed — different actions produce distinct sensations rather than one generic buzz.
Tuning for Comfort
If vibration feels distracting, lower the intensity or disable it for specific event types if the mod exposes per-event toggles. Some players keep damage feedback on but turn off block-breaking rumble to reduce constant buzzing while mining. Test in a safe area: take a small amount of fall damage or break a few blocks and adjust until the feedback feels informative rather than annoying. Remember that battery life drops faster with strong haptics enabled, so dial it back on long play sessions.
