View Items Inside a Shulker Box Without Opening It

Container Preview Mod lets you see what's inside a shulker box instantly from your inventory.

1. Open your inventory (E key by default)

2. Look at any shulker box in your inventory or hotbar

3. Hover your mouse cursor over the shulker box

4. A tooltip window will appear showing all items stored inside in a grid layout

5. Move your cursor away to close the preview

If your shulker box contains other storage items (like bundles or smaller shulker boxes), you can inspect those too:

1. While hovering over the main shulker box preview, move your cursor to any nested container shown in the tooltip

2. The preview will update to show the contents of that nested item

3. This lets you drill down through multiple layers of storage without placing anything down

This is especially useful when organizing complex storage systems or searching for specific items buried in nested bags.
