Make Your Food Animations Work With Other Resource Packs

Check for Conflicts

Consumability works best when other packs don't override the default food textures. If your animations aren't showing, another pack is likely replacing the food models.

Load Order Matters

Place Consumability above other texture packs in your resource pack list. In the resource pack menu, drag Consumability higher in the stack so it loads first. This gives it priority over conflicting textures.

Identify Problem Packs

If animations still don't work, disable other packs one at a time to find which one conflicts. Common culprits are packs that add custom food textures, realistic item models, or complete visual overhauls.

Partial Compatibility

Some packs work fine together—Consumability plays nicely with most cosmetic or world-focused packs. Only packs that change how food *looks* in your hand will cause issues.

Test Your Setup

Once configured, hold right-click on an apple or cookie. You should see it shrink with each bite. If you see the standard eating animation instead, adjust your load order or disable the conflicting pack.
