Update Your Mod Configuration to Match the Latest Modpack

When to Update

Update your configuration when you've installed a new version of a modpack and want to apply the modpack creator's latest settings. This overwrites your personal adjustments with the packaged defaults.

How to Update

1. Open your mod list menu (NeoForge mod list or Mod Menu depending on your loader)

2. Locate Config Manager Mod in the list

3. Select the Update option

4. Choose which configuration files to update, or select all

5. Confirm the action

Your selected configuration files will be replaced with the versions from /config/modpack_defaults. Any custom changes you made to those files will be overwritten.

After Updating

Restart your game or reload your world for changes to take effect. Some mods may require a full client restart for configuration changes to apply properly. If you're unsure whether a setting changed, check the mod's in-game options menu or configuration file directly.
