Opening and Closing the Debug Screen

The Compact F3 Plus overlay appears when you press your debug key (F3 by default). Press it again to hide the overlay and return to your normal view.

Customizing Your Debug Key

If F3 conflicts with another mod or your keybinds, you can rebind the debug key:

1. Open your game settings

2. Navigate to Controls or Key Binds

3. Find the debug toggle option (often labeled "Toggle Debug Screen" or similar)

4. Click the binding and press your preferred key

5. Close settings and test your new key

The compact overlay will now activate with your custom key instead. This is useful if you frequently need to check performance metrics without fumbling through menus, or if you want to keep F3 available for other mods.

Use the debug overlay during gameplay to quickly monitor your FPS and game performance without cluttering your screen. The color-coded display makes it easy to spot performance issues at a glance.
