Read and Interpret the Color-Coded Performance Indicators

Understanding Color Meanings

Compact F3 Plus uses colors to instantly communicate your game's health. Different stats change color based on performance thresholds:

  • Green indicates healthy performance—your game is running smoothly
  • Yellow signals caution—performance is acceptable but declining
  • Red warns of problems—your game is struggling and may lag

Using Colors to Diagnose Issues

When you see red or yellow indicators:

1. Note which stat is colored (FPS, chunk load time, entity count, etc.)

2. Identify the bottleneck—high entity counts suggest mob problems, low FPS suggests rendering issues

3. Take action: reduce render distance, disable resource packs, or lower graphics settings

Quick Performance Monitoring

Check the overlay regularly while playing to catch performance drops early. The color system lets you spot problems without reading exact numbers, making it perfect for quick glances during intense gameplay. This helps you maintain smooth performance before lag becomes noticeable.
