Understand Message vs. Command Syntax

Command Keys Mod treats plain text differently from commands. If your text doesn't start with /, it's sent as a regular chat message. This is perfect for:

• Repeated greetings or farewells
• Frequently asked questions or answers
• Status updates or announcements
• Role-play dialogue

Set Up a Message Hotkey

Open the config screen and create a new entry. Type your message exactly as you want it to appear in chat (e.g., Thanks for the help!). Don't include a / at the start. Assign a hotkey and save.

Send Instantly

When you press your hotkey, the message appears in chat immediately without requiring you to open the chat box or press Enter. This is especially useful for:

• Quick responses during combat or building
• Sending the same message repeatedly without retyping
• Keeping your hands on movement keys

Customize Your Messages

You can include formatting like color codes or special characters if your server supports them, making your messages stand out.
