Why Limit Bubbles

When many players chat simultaneously, bubbles can clutter the screen. Limiting the maximum number visible per player keeps gameplay readable while maintaining the mod's immersive effect.

Configure the Bubble Limit

Open your Comics Bubbles Chat Mod configuration file and locate the setting for maximum bubbles per player. This value controls how many chat messages display as bubbles above a single player at once.

Set Your Preferred Number

Adjust this value based on your needs:

• Lower numbers (2-3): Minimal visual clutter, older messages disappear faster
• Higher numbers (5+): More chat history visible, but busier appearance

Save and Reload

After changing the value, save the config file and restart your game or server. The new limit applies immediately.

Verify the Change

Have multiple players send messages rapidly to test. Once the bubble count reaches your limit, older bubbles should fade or disappear as new ones appear.
