Customize Chat Bubble Colors and Appearance

Access the Configuration File

Locate your mod's configuration folder (usually in .minecraft/config/) and find the Comics Bubbles Chat Mod settings file. This is where all visual customization happens.

Modify Bubble Properties

Open the config file in a text editor and look for color settings. You can typically adjust:

• Bubble color: Change the RGB or hex values to match your preference
• Text color: Customize the color of the message text inside bubbles
• Bubble size: Adjust the scale of bubbles relative to player position
• Lifetime: Set how long bubbles remain visible before fading
• Size limits: Define minimum and maximum bubble dimensions

Apply Changes

Save the configuration file and restart your game or server. Changes take effect immediately on next load. If bubbles don't update, verify the syntax of your edits—most config files are sensitive to formatting.

Test Your Settings

Join your world and send a chat message. Your customized bubbles should now appear above your head with the new appearance settings applied.
