Create Custom Commands with Bubble Messages

Understanding Custom Commands

This mod allows you to create custom commands that trigger special messages displayed in chat bubbles. This is useful for roleplay scenarios, announcements, or immersive server events.

Access the Command Configuration

Open your Comics Bubbles Chat Mod config file and locate the custom commands section. This is typically a list or table where you define new commands.

Define Your Command

Add a new entry with:

  • Command name: The text players type (e.g., /emote or /announce)
  • Message: The text that appears in the bubble
  • Permissions (if applicable): Who can use the command

Set Bubble Properties for the Command

You can often customize how the command's message displays:

  • Bubble color specific to that command
  • Message lifetime
  • Size or scale

Save and Test

Restart your server or game, then try executing your custom command. The message should appear in a chat bubble above your head with your configured settings.
