Combat Hitboxes Mod: Customizing Debug Hitbox Display
Customizing Debug Hitboxes
Combat Hitboxes Mod builds on Minecraft's built-in debug hitbox rendering, which normally shows fixed outlines around entities and their parts. With this mod installed, those outlines become configurable rather than locked to the default look.
Three kinds of adjustment are available. First, line width: you can thicken or thin the drawn outlines so they read more clearly against busy backgrounds or at a distance. Second, color: different hitbox components can be assigned separate colors, letting you tell one part of a hitbox from another at a glance instead of relying on a single uniform shade. Third, visibility: each component can be toggled on or off individually, so you can hide the parts you don't care about and keep only the ones relevant to what you're testing.
Because the mod only changes how debug hitboxes are drawn, it does not alter actual collision or combat behavior. It is purely a visual aid for players who want clearer, more readable hitbox information while playing or testing.
