Set Up the Resource Pack in Your Modpack

Installation Order Matters

The Colourful Containers Modded GUI Compat Resource Pack must be placed directly above the base Colourful Containers pack in your resource pack list. This layering ensures the modded GUI textures override the base pack correctly.

Steps to Install

1. Open your resource packs folder (usually resourcepacks/ in your game directory)

2. Ensure the base Colourful Containers pack is already installed

3. Place the Modded GUI Compat pack into the same folder

4. Open Minecraft and go to Options → Resource Packs

5. In the "Available" list, find the Modded GUI Compat pack

6. Click the arrow to move it to "Selected"

7. Drag it above the base Colourful Containers pack in the selected list

8. Click Done and restart your game

Verify It's Working

Open any supported modded container (like an Iron Chest or Apotheosis Enchanting Table). If the GUI appears colorful and styled instead of gray and plain, the pack is active. If menus still look dull, check that the pack order is correct and both packs are enabled.
