Use Torches as Your Flashlight

The shader allows you to hold a torch in your hand to light up your immediate surroundings:

1. Craft or gather torches before exploring dark areas.

2. Hold a torch in your off-hand or main hand (depending on your preference).

3. The torch will illuminate the grayscale world around you, making it easier to spot mobs, terrain hazards, and resources.

Explore Caves and Mines Effectively

When venturing into dark spaces:

• Keep multiple torches in your inventory in case you need to switch them out.
• The hand-held torch provides localized light, so you won't see far ahead—move carefully in unfamiliar caves.
• Combine the torch with the shader's fog effect for an atmospheric but challenging exploration experience.
• Place torches on walls as you go to mark your path back out.

The hand-held torch mechanic makes exploration feel more immersive and survival-focused than traditional Minecraft lighting, fitting the old-movie aesthetic of the shader.
