Troubleshoot Uneven Lighting or Color Banding

Check Shader Compatibility

ColorFull Ultra Shaders is based on Solas Shader and may interact differently with certain Minecraft versions or other mods. Verify your installation is current and compatible with your game version. Incompatibilities sometimes cause visual artifacts like color banding or uneven lighting patches.

Verify Graphics Driver Updates

Shader performance depends heavily on your GPU drivers. Outdated drivers can cause rendering issues, including banding or inconsistent color application. Update your graphics drivers through your manufacturer's control panel.

Adjust Dithering or Smoothing Options

If you notice color banding (visible stripes or gradients), look for dithering, smoothing, or color depth settings in the shader menu. Enabling these options reduces banding artifacts. Some systems benefit from adjusting bit depth or anti-aliasing settings.

Reset to Default Settings

If lighting appears broken after customization, reset the shader to default configuration and reapply changes gradually. This isolates which setting causes the issue. Document working configurations for future reference.
