Enhance Biome Colors Without Losing Detail
Locate Biome-Specific Color Controls
Open the shader configuration menu and search for biome coloring, color grading, or palette options. Colorfull Reimagined often provides separate controls for how different biomes are tinted and saturated.
Increase Saturation Gradually
Rather than maxing saturation immediately, raise it incrementally. This preserves block texture detail while making grass, water, and foliage pop with fantasy-inspired hues. Stop before colors become unrealistic or muddy.
Adjust Color Temperature
Some shaders let you warm or cool the overall palette. Warmer settings enhance desert and savanna vibrancy; cooler settings make forests and oceans more striking. Experiment to match your preferred aesthetic.
Preserve Texture Contrast
Ensure shadow and highlight contrast remains strong. High saturation without good contrast can flatten textures and make blocks look plastic-like. Balance color intensity with shadow depth.
Compare Before and After
Toggle shader effects on and off (usually with a key like F12 or through the menu) to see the difference. This helps you dial in saturation levels that feel vibrant without overwhelming the original block details and terrain variation.
