Optimize Performance on Lower-End Computers

Check Shader Quality Options

Enter Shader Options and look for quality presets or detail level settings. ColorFull Optimized Shaders typically offers reduced-quality modes designed for systems with limited resources. Select a lower preset if you're experiencing frame rate drops.

Disable Advanced Effects

Toggle off optional visual enhancements like shadow quality, reflection detail, or particle effects if available. These consume extra processing power. Disabling them keeps the core color improvements while freeing up performance.

Reduce Render Distance

While not a shader setting, lowering your render distance in Video Settings works alongside the shader to improve FPS. Start at 8-12 chunks and increase gradually until you find your performance sweet spot.

Monitor Frame Rate

Use F3 debug screen to watch your FPS while playing. If it dips below your target, return to shader settings and reduce quality further. The mod is designed to stay lightweight, so you should see playable performance even on modest hardware.
