Enhance Visibility While Mining in Caves

Rely on Shader Cave Brightening

ColorFull Optimized Shaders automatically brightens cave interiors so you can see better without losing the vanilla aesthetic. This feature works by default—no configuration needed. Caves should be noticeably clearer than vanilla Minecraft.

Combine with Torches and Lighting

For best results, still place torches as you mine. The shader enhances existing light sources, making them more visible and vibrant. Torchlight will appear warmer and more defined against the brightened cave walls.

Adjust Brightness if Needed

If caves still feel dim, open Shader Options and increase the brightness slider slightly. This boosts the cave-brightening effect without affecting daytime visibility as much.

Use Glowstone and Lanterns

Light blocks like glowstone and lanterns become more visually prominent under this shader. Consider using them strategically in mining operations for better visibility and aesthetics. The shader makes their glow more noticeable than vanilla.
