Dye Your Armor with Custom Colors

Basic Dyeing Process

To add color to your armor, you'll need a smithing table, your armor piece, a trim pattern, and a dye of your choice.

1. Open a smithing table

2. Place your armor piece in the first slot

3. Place your trim pattern in the second slot

4. Place your chosen dye in the third slot

5. Collect your newly colored and trimmed armor from the output

Choosing Your Dye

The mod supports all standard Minecraft dyes, giving you complete freedom over your armor's appearance. Experiment with different dye colors to match your base armor color or create striking contrasts. You can re-dye armor multiple times by repeating the process with a different dye—simply use the already-trimmed armor as your input piece.

Tips

  • Combine trim patterns with dyes to create unique visual effects
  • Different armor materials (leather, iron, diamond, etc.) display colors differently
  • Plan your color scheme before committing multiple pieces to the same design
