Resolve Conflicts Between Multiple Codx Mods

Identify the Problem

If you're running several Codx mods and experiencing crashes or mods not loading, CodxLib may be detecting a version conflict. Check your debug log for messages about incompatible mod versions or missing dependencies.

Update All Codx Mods Together

CodxLib and all Codx mods in your collection should be from compatible versions:

1. Note which Codx mods you have installed

2. Check each mod's page for version compatibility info

3. Update CodxLib and all Codx mods to matching release dates or versions

4. Remove old mod files before adding new ones

Prevent Duplicate Files

One key benefit of CodxLib is preventing duplicate background files. If you see multiple copies of the same mod file or strange folder structures in your mods folder, remove duplicates:

  • Keep only one copy of CodxLib
  • Keep only one copy of each Codx mod
  • Delete any backup or old version files

Relaunch and check your log for successful initialization.
