Disable Supporter Lookup to Fix Server Connection Issues

Why Your Server Responds Slowly

CodeChicken Lib CRE attempts to look up supporter information by default, which can cause broken server responses and lag, especially on older or unstable connections.

How to Turn Off Supporter Lookup

1. Navigate to your mod configuration folder (usually .minecraft/config)

2. Open the CodeChicken Lib configuration file

3. Find the setting labeled supporter lookup or similar network-related option

4. Set it to false or disabled

5. Save the file and restart your game

Once disabled, the mod will no longer attempt to contact external servers for supporter data. This eliminates the connection delays and prevents crashes caused by failed lookups. Your game will load faster, especially on servers with poor internet connectivity or when playing offline.

If you experience further issues after disabling this setting, verify that your configuration file was saved correctly and that you restarted the game completely.
