How to Use Z-Power Moves in Battle

Equip a Z-Ring

You need a Z-Ring or Z-Power Ring equipped as an accessory on your player character. This is required to use Z-Power moves during battle.

Give Your Pokémon a Z-Crystal

Each Z-Crystal corresponds to a specific type or Pokémon. Equip the matching Z-Crystal as a held item on your Pokémon. Your Pokémon must know a move of that type to use the Z-Power move.

Activate Z-Power

During battle, when you have both the Z-Ring equipped and your Pokémon holding a compatible Z-Crystal, a Z-Power option will appear on your turn. Select it to unleash a powerful Z-move that combines your Pokémon's held move with the Z-Crystal's power.

Ultra Burst

If you have Ultranecrozium-Z, you can trigger Ultra Burst on Necrozma, unlocking its most powerful form and move.

Getting Z-Crystals

Use /genesis giveZCrystal <player> <z-crystal> to obtain specific Z-Crystals for your team.
