How to Dynamax or Gigantamax Your Pokémon

Obtain a Dynamax Band

Equip a Dynamax Band as an accessory on your player character. This is essential for using Dynamax in battle.

Prepare Your Pokémon

Your Pokémon must have the Dynamax factor to grow during battle. You can apply or remove the Gigantamax factor on your team using mod commands or items. Some Pokémon are naturally Gigantamax-capable.

Use Dynamax in Battle

During battle, select the Dynamax option on your turn. Your Pokémon will grow to enormous size, gaining increased stats and access to Max moves (powered-up versions of its normal moves). Dynamax lasts for three turns.

Power Up Your Team

Use Dynamax Candy to strengthen your Pokémon's Dynamax potential. Max Honey and Max Soup provide additional benefits. Placeable Max Mushrooms can be found or crafted in your world.

Managing Gigantamax

If you need to add or remove the Gigantamax factor from specific team members, use the appropriate mod commands or consumable items to adjust their capabilities.
