Finding Abnormality Spawns

Abnormality variants spawn in specific biomes and conditions tied to their Lobotomy Corporation themes. Explore diverse biome types—especially darker or unusual terrain—to encounter these creatures. They may appear more frequently at certain times or in particular weather conditions.

Preparation and Catching

Bring a supply of Poké Balls before hunting. Abnormality variants often have unique typing and movesets that differ from standard Cobblemon creatures, so expect different type matchups than you're used to.

When you encounter an Abnormality variant:

1. Weaken it with status moves or low-damage attacks

2. Throw Poké Balls when its health is low

3. Be patient—unique variants may have lower catch rates

After Catching

Once caught, check your Pokédex entry to see its custom type, abilities, and moveset. These variants often have signature moves unavailable to standard creatures, making them valuable for team building. Train it like any other Cobblemon creature to unlock its full potential in battle.
