How to Set Up a Pokemon Spawner So It Actually Spawns Pokemon
A Pokemon Spawner only works once you give it something to spawn and a reason to run. Place the block, then open its interface by interacting with it. The interface is where you define which Pokemon should appear; without a configured entry the spawner sits idle and looks broken.
Configuring the spawn entry
Put the Pokemon you want into the spawner's configuration slot or list. Most setups use a spawn egg, a Pokemon-specific item, or a species selector depending on how the block is set up in your pack. Once a valid Pokemon is assigned, the spawner needs a valid spawn location around it. Keep the area clear of solid blocks, fluids, and other spawners, and make sure the floor is a block Pokemon can actually stand on. If the spawner is buried in stone or floating over the void, nothing will appear.
Checking whether it is running
Stand back and watch for a few seconds. A working spawner produces its Pokemon in the space around it, not inside itself. If nothing happens, break and replace the block to reset it, confirm the Pokemon entry saved, and clear any redstone signal that might be disabling it. On servers, also check that mob spawning is not disabled in the world or by another mod's spawn control.
