Troubleshoot Lava-Water Interactions Not Working as Expected

Verify the Mod is Active

If lava and water are still creating cobblestone or stone, the mod may not be loaded:

1. Open your mod folder and confirm the mod file is present

2. Launch the game and check the mod list in the main menu

3. Look for Cobble Gen Haters Mod in the active mods list

4. If missing, reinstall or move the mod file to the correct directory

Check Your Interaction Setup

Ensure you're testing the mechanic correctly:

• Use *flowing* lava (not source blocks) near water
• Water must be actively adjacent to or touching the lava flow
• Allow a moment for the interaction to process
• Check that no other mods are overriding this behavior

Confirm Expected Behavior

With the mod working correctly:

• Lava flows freely without turning solid
• No cobblestone or stone appears at contact points
• The lava remains as liquid indefinitely

If blocks are still generating, check for conflicting mods in your modpack that might restore the original lava-water mechanic.
