Set Up Your First Training Simulator

Crafting the Training Simulator

Before you can challenge any gyms, you need to build a Training Simulator block. Gather iron ingots, copper ingots, smooth stone blocks, and a redstone block. Arrange these in a crafting table according to the mod's recipe to create your simulator.

Placement and Activation

Place the Training Simulator in a clear area where you have room to battle. The block will serve as your gateway to gym instances. Once placed, it's ready to accept Training Discs.

Finding Your First Training Disc

Training Discs are your tickets into gym challenges. Search dungeon chests, mineshaft structures, and other generated loot locations for discs. Alternatively, find a villager and place your Training Simulator nearby—the villager will transform into a League Representative who trades Training Discs for emeralds or other goods.

Starting Your First Gym

With a Training Disc in hand, interact with your Training Simulator. You'll be transported into a private void arena where you'll face two trainers in sequence, followed by the gym leader. Defeat all three to earn your first type badge and return to the overworld.
