Maximize Stat Bonuses with Ribbons and Beacons

Understanding Trainer and Champion Ribbons

Trainer Ribbons are earned after defeating gym leaders and grant stat boosts tied to your lead Pokémon's type—extra attack power, health, or speed depending on the type matchup. These bonuses apply during battles and persist as long as you wear the ribbon.

Combining Ribbons with Champion Upgrades

The Champion Ribbon is more powerful but requires a Champion Upgrade template to activate. When combined, it applies passive stat bonuses from every Pokémon in your entire party, not just your lead. This stacks multiplicatively, making a full team of strong Pokémon exponentially more effective.

Activating the Champion Beacon

The Champion Beacon is a special block that provides Cobblemon aura buffs when activated. Place it in your base or pasture area to gain effects like faster berry growth, improved EV training in pastures, increased daycare experience gain, and boosted shiny spawn rates.

Optimization Strategy

Equip ribbons before gym battles for immediate stat advantages. Use the Champion Beacon in your training area to accelerate Pokémon growth between challenges. Layer multiple ribbons and beacon effects for compounding benefits throughout your progression.
