How to Climb Ladders Fast

Climbing Ladders Quickly

Climb Ladders Fast Mod changes how you move on ladders by tying your climbing speed to where you are looking. Instead of the fixed pace of vanilla Minecraft, your view direction now controls how fast you travel up or down.

To climb upward faster, look straight up while on the ladder. To descend faster, look straight down. The angle matters: the more directly you face up or down, the greater your speed. Partial angles give partial speed, so you can fine-tune your movement by adjusting your view.

This makes deep cave descents and long ladder climbs much quicker, and it is handy for reaching high builds such as sky cities. No special items or recipes are needed; the behavior applies whenever you use a ladder.
