How Saplings Work Now

Cliff Under a Branch changes how trees grow from saplings. Birch, Jungle, and Pale Oak trees now have updated shapes and follow new growth rules. Saplings can grow into different tree sizes depending on conditions, creating more varied and natural-looking forests.

Growing Trees Successfully

Plant saplings in their appropriate biomes for best results. Birch saplings in birch forests, jungle saplings in jungle biomes, and Pale Oak saplings in their designated areas. Trees may grow to different heights and shapes—this is intentional and creates the realistic forest variety the mod adds.

Visual Changes

When trees mature, you'll see updated trunk and canopy designs that differ from vanilla Minecraft. Forests now feel more diverse, with trees of varying sizes and shapes in the same area. This makes exploration more visually interesting and creates natural-looking groves rather than uniform tree farms.
