Adapting to Changed Mob Spawning Patterns

New Spawn Rate System

Cliff Under a Branch modifies how mobs spawn across different biomes. Spiders now spawn more frequently in warm areas and less often in cold regions. Animal spawn rates have been adjusted to make each biome feel distinct and appropriate to its climate.

Biome-Specific Spawning

Warm biomes like the Oasis will have higher spider populations, so bring extra protection when exploring at night. Cold biomes like Tundras will have fewer spiders but different animal distributions. This means you may need to travel to specific biomes to find certain mobs or animals you're hunting.

Planning Your Hunts

If you need specific drops or animals, consider which biome is most likely to have them. Warm biomes are riskier for nighttime exploration due to increased spider spawns. Cold biomes may have different passive mobs suited to their climate. Adjust your gear and timing based on the biome you're entering—what works in one area may not be ideal in another.
