Understand Client-Side vs Server-Side Crystal Behavior

What Client-Side Rendering Does

When you place a crystal, the mod immediately shows it on your screen. This is purely visual—your client renders the crystal without waiting for the server to confirm the action.

Server Still Validates Placement

The server independently processes your placement request. If the placement is invalid (wrong block type, obstructed space, etc.), the server rejects it and the crystal disappears from your view once the rejection packet arrives.

No Gameplay Advantage Beyond Visuals

This mod does not allow you to place crystals where the server wouldn't allow them. It only removes the visual delay. Anti-cheat systems and server rules remain fully in effect.

Useful for High-Ping Players

Players with high latency benefit most, as the delay between action and visual feedback is normally proportional to ping. This mod eliminates that delay entirely.

Multiplayer Awareness

Other players will still see your crystal appear with normal server latency. The instant rendering is only on your client. This doesn't affect how others perceive your actions.
