Delete a Kit and Manage Your Kit Files

Removing Unwanted Kits

When you no longer need a kit, delete it to keep your kit folder organized.

Steps:

1. Open chat and type /kit delete <kitname>

2. Confirm the deletion — the kit is permanently removed

3. The kit file is erased from .minecraft/config/ClientKits

Important: No Recovery

Deleted kits cannot be recovered unless you have a backup. If you think you might need a kit later, consider backing it up before deleting. You can do this by copying the kit file from .minecraft/config/ClientKits to another folder on your computer.

Managing Your Kit Folder

You can manually organize kits by navigating to the ClientKits folder and renaming or moving files. This is useful for creating backups or sharing kits with other players — simply copy the kit file and send it to them. They can paste it into their own ClientKits folder to use it.
