Write your first ClickCrystalsScripts (CCS) custom module

ClickCrystalsScripts (CCS) lets you build your own module from simple text commands instead of waiting for a built-in feature. A script is a plain text file that reacts to events, such as a click or a key press, and runs a short list of commands, such as swapping to an item.

Create the script file

1. Find the mod's config folder inside your game directory. It has a scripts folder for CCS files.

2. Create a new text file there and give it the script extension the mod expects (.ccs).

3. Open it in any plain text editor.

Write and load it

1. Start with one event and one action. For example, make a right-click trigger a swap to a single item in your hotbar.

2. Keep each command on its own line. Add comments if the syntax supports them, so you remember what each line does.

3. Save the file, then reload scripts with the mod's reload option or restart the game. The mod's chat command suggestions can help you check the exact command names.

4. Open the Click Crystals menu and look for your new module. Enable it and test it in a safe area.

Troubleshooting

  • If nothing happens, check the game chat or log for script errors. A typo in a command name is the usual cause.
  • Build up slowly: get a one-line script working, then add more.
  • Remember that the script reacts to your clicks. It does not click for you.
