Set up your hotbar so the swap hotkeys work smoothly

Click Crystals does not play for you. It acts as a quick hotkey system for your inventory slots, so the way you arrange your hotbar decides how well it works.

Build a reliable hotbar

1. Put the items you use in a fight into hotbar slots: crystals, obsidian, your sword, a totem and any other swap items.

2. Keep one copy of each item in the hotbar. If a module searches for an item and finds it somewhere unexpected, you may swap to the wrong slot.

3. Keep the layout the same from session to session so your hands learn it.

Test each swap

1. Enable one swap-style module in the Click Crystals menu.

2. Stand somewhere safe, hold a different item, and perform the click the module describes. Usually that means right-clicking while looking at a specific block or holding a specific item.

3. Check that your selected slot changes to the expected item.

4. Click again to perform the real action, such as placing a block or using the item. The mod will not do this for you.

If a swap does nothing

  • Check that the item is actually in your hotbar, not buried in your inventory.
  • Make sure the module is still enabled.
  • Disable any other mod or module that remaps the same click.
