Disable the Nausea Effect Overlay

Access the Configuration

Open your mod configuration menu (usually accessible from the main menu or pause screen, depending on your mod loader). Look for Clearviews Mod settings.

Toggle Nausea Off

Locate the nausea effect option in the overlay settings. This effect typically appears as a swirling, distorted screen when you're affected by the Nausea status effect (from Endermen, witches, or potions).

Uncheck or disable the nausea overlay toggle. This removes the visual distortion while keeping the status effect active on your character—you'll still take damage or experience other mechanical effects, but your screen won't blur and spin.

Save and Test

Confirm your changes and return to your world. Trigger the nausea effect (drink a potion or encounter a witch) to verify the overlay no longer appears. Your gameplay will be clearer and less disorienting during these encounters.

Note

Disabling overlays is purely visual—it doesn't remove the actual status effect or its mechanical consequences. You're only hiding the screen distortion.
