Accessing Configuration

The mod allows you to customize the exact coordinate where terrain generation breaks. This setting is typically found in the mod's configuration file, which you can access through your mod manager or by navigating to your world's data files.

Changing the Distance

Locate the configuration option for Farlands spawn distance or edge coordinate. The default is 12,550,821 blocks, but you can lower this to encounter broken terrain sooner, or raise it to push the edge further away.

Applying Changes

After editing the config, reload your world or restart the game depending on your setup. Changes take effect on newly generated chunks only—existing terrain won't retroactively update.

Practical Considerations

Lowering the distance makes Farlands more accessible for exploration and building projects. Raising it preserves more usable terrain for survival gameplay. Experiment to find the balance that suits your playstyle.
