How to Find and Locate Hostile Human Structures

Use the Locate Command

Open your chat and type /locate hostile_humans: followed by the structure name you want to find. The game will display coordinates to the nearest matching structure. This works for both basic houses and fortified bases across any biome.

Explore Biomes Manually

If you prefer discovery, travel through forests, deserts, snowy plains, and other biomes. Look for custom wooden or stone houses that don't match vanilla generation. Sword banner markers indicate Tier 2 bases and camps—these are fortified positions with stronger enemies and better loot.

Understand Structure Distribution

Hostile human bases generate naturally across the map during world creation. Roamer mobs wander during daylight, so you may encounter lone humans away from structures. Bases vary by biome—forest bases often use wood, while desert bases may use sandstone. Use the locate command for efficiency, or explore for a more organic experience and potential surprise encounters.
