Customize Filmic Color Grading for Different Biomes
Open Color Settings
Access the Iris shader menu and locate CineReal's color or tone mapping options. These control the filmic look applied across your world.
Understand Biome-Based Fog
CineReal automatically adjusts fog color and density based on your current biome. Desert biomes may have warm, hazy fog, while forests have cooler, denser atmosphere. This happens automatically—you cannot disable it per-biome, but you can adjust overall fog strength.
Adjust Global Saturation and Contrast
Look for saturation, contrast, or vibrancy sliders. Increasing saturation makes biome colors more vivid and movie-like, while decreasing it creates a more muted, cinematic look. Contrast adjustments affect how distinct light and shadow areas appear.
Fine-tune Warm/Cool Tones
Many shader packs include color temperature controls. Warmer tones suit golden hour photography, while cooler tones work well for moody, dramatic scenes.
Travel Between Biomes
Visit different biomes—plains, mountains, oceans, and forests—to observe how the automatic fog and color grading change. This helps you decide if adjustments are needed for your preferred aesthetic.
