Adjust Lighting Intensity and Color Spread

Control How Far Light Reaches

Cinematix Shaders allows you to customize how brightly colored light spreads from your light sources. Access the shader settings menu (usually opened with a key like Shift + R or through your mod menu) and look for lighting or color intensity sliders.

Fine-Tune for Your Playstyle

If torches and lanterns feel too dim or their colored glow spreads too far, adjust the light radius or color saturation values. Lowering these values creates more realistic, localized lighting; increasing them makes the world feel more vibrant and magical.

Test changes in different biomes and times of day. Caves benefit from stronger lighting, while surface areas may feel oversaturated if values are too high. You can also toggle individual light source types (torches, lanterns, glowing blocks) on or off to see their individual impact.

Save Your Preferences

Once you find settings you like, the shader pack will remember them for future sessions. Experiment in Creative mode first to avoid losing progress while tweaking.
