Use This Mod on Multiplayer Servers

Server compatibility

CICADA Cape Fix Mod is a client-side mod, meaning it only affects what you see on your screen. It doesn't interfere with server operations, anti-cheat systems, or other players' experiences.

Playing on servers

1. Install the mod in your client mods folder

2. Connect to any server as you normally would

3. Your cape display will be cleaned up locally — other players won't be affected

4. The mod silently blocks CICADA cape fetching without sending any unusual packets

5. Your custom skin appears clean to you while playing

What other players see

Other players' cape displays are unaffected by your mod. If they have CICADA capes enabled, they'll see them on their screen. This mod only changes your own client-side rendering.

Server rules

Since this is a cosmetic client-side mod that doesn't modify gameplay, it's safe on virtually all servers. It doesn't give advantages, doesn't alter game mechanics, and doesn't interact with server systems. You can use it freely on multiplayer worlds and public servers.
