Understanding Craft Time Estimates in Your Terminal
Reading Time Predictions
When you queue an autocrafting order in your AE2 terminal, Chronos analyzes your setup and displays predicted craft times. Open the Craft Plan window after submitting a job—each step shows how long that particular item will take to craft based on your machines' actual performance.
The mod learns from completed jobs on your server. If you've never crafted an item before, estimates may be unavailable until the first batch finishes. Once tracked, the prediction becomes more reliable as more jobs complete.
Viewing Total Queue Time
The crafting status menu displays the total time for your entire active queue—this is the sum of all jobs currently running. Items craft sequentially by default in AE2, so this number tells you when your last item will finish.
Color highlights make slow crafting jobs stand out. If a single step takes much longer than others, that's your bottleneck. Check which machine is handling that recipe and consider optimizing it.
Multiplayer Accuracy
Craft times are profiled server-side, so multiplayer and singleplayer results match real machine speeds. Your estimates account for actual lag and processing power on your server.
