Restore Classic Nether Terrain in Your World

Enable Classic Nether Generation

The mod includes options to replace modern Nether generation with terrain systems from earlier Minecraft versions, recreating the classic cavern-like Nether landscape.

Configure Nether Settings

1. In world customization, look for Nether Generator or Nether Terrain options

2. Select the classic Nether generation system you want (typically labeled by era, such as Beta Nether)

3. Preview if available to confirm the terrain style

4. Create your world

What to Expect

Classic Nether terrain features different cave and lava lake distributions compared to modern generation. The terrain may feel more maze-like or have different vertical structure depending on which era you select. This affects mining routes and base-building strategies.

If Nether settings aren't visible in your customization menu, they may be controlled through a separate preset or world type selection rather than individual toggles.
