Getting Started with Chromium

Mining and Refining Chromium

Chromium Ore spawns deep underground in cave systems. Mine it to collect raw chromium, then smelt the raw metal at a Chromium Foundry workstation to refine it into usable pieces.

Refined chromium can be crafted into a complete armor set and matching tools, or used to create decorative building blocks like stairs, slabs, walls, and buttons.

Exploring the Chromium Dimension

Construct a dimension portal and use a portal igniter to enter the Chromium Dimension. This metallic realm contains unique biomes including the Metallic Forest and Chromium Desert, along with special formations like Chromium Dripstones.

Finding Loot

Search underground for secret laboratory structures scattered throughout caves. These labs contain loot chests with rare items and blocks. Chromium Gems and Chromium Apples can be discovered during exploration and unlock special advancements.
