Place chiseled bookshelves adjacent to your enchantment table, following the same proximity rules as regular bookshelves. The exact range depends on your enchantment table setup—typically, bookshelves work when placed in a specific radius around the table.

Filling the Bookshelves

Interact with each chiseled bookshelf to open its inventory. Insert enchanted books, regular books, or other readable items into the slots. The mod treats filled chiseled bookshelves the same as regular bookshelves for enchantment power calculation.

Verify Power Level

Approach your enchantment table and check the enchantment options available. With properly positioned and filled chiseled bookshelves, you should see higher-level enchantments appear, indicating the table is receiving power. The more bookshelves you add, the higher your maximum enchantment level becomes.
