Display Tools as 3D Decorations in Item Frames

Setting Up Your Display

Item frames are the best way to showcase the mod's 3D tool models as wall decorations. Unlike holding tools in your hand, framed tools display their full blocky geometry from all angles.

Steps

1. Craft or find any tool covered by this mod (sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, mace, trident, or spear).

2. Craft an item frame using sticks and leather at a crafting table.

3. Place the item frame on a wall, floor, or ceiling where you want your decoration.

4. Hold your 3D tool and right-click the frame to insert it.

5. The tool will now display as a full 3D model visible from the front.

Tips

Arrange multiple framed tools in a grid or pattern to create an armory display. Different tool types have distinct shapes, so mixing swords, axes, and pickaxes creates visual variety. Rotate frames by right-clicking them with an empty hand to change the tool's angle. Combine frames with wood, stone, or other building blocks to create themed weapon racks or tool storage walls.
