Make the Nether and End Look Better with Custom Lighting
Locate Dimension-Specific Settings
In shader options, find settings labeled for the Nether or End dimension lighting. Chick Pro Lux includes dedicated controls to transform these dimensions beyond vanilla appearance.
Adjust Nether Lighting
The Nether's default orange glow can be modified through color and brightness sliders specific to that dimension. Increase brightness if lava caves feel too dark, or adjust the color temperature to shift from orange toward warmer or cooler tones. This helps you navigate better while mining.
Customize End Dimension Colors
The End's purple void and dark islands can be enhanced with better contrast and lighting. Shader settings may let you brighten the sky or adjust how end stone reflects light, making the dimension feel less oppressive.
Test Your Changes
Visit both dimensions after adjusting to see the effect. The goal is maintaining readability and visibility while keeping the unique atmosphere of each dimension. Return to the Overworld to compare and ensure consistency across your world.
