Adjust Shader Brightness and Contrast for Your Setup
Access Shader Settings
Open your pause menu and navigate to Options → Video Settings → Shader Options (or Iris Settings if using Iris). This opens the shader configuration panel where you can fine-tune how Chick Pro Lux renders your world.
Customize Brightness
Look for brightness or exposure sliders in the shader menu. If the world feels too washed out or too dark for your monitor, adjust these values incrementally. Brighter settings help you spot mobs and ores more easily in caves and dim areas, while lower settings reduce glare in bright biomes.
Tweak Contrast and Saturation
Chick Pro Lux's signature vibrant colors can be adjusted through contrast and saturation controls. Reduce saturation if colors feel overwhelming, or increase it if you want the cherry blossoms and sunsets to pop even more.
Test in Different Biomes
After adjusting settings, visit caves, the Nether, and open sky areas to see how your changes look across different lighting conditions. The shader should remain clear and readable in all environments without causing eye strain.
